Editors: We create the certificate and label file templates based on official sources, which we also link to. However, we do not guarantee that the templates are correct and perfectly applicable to every possible product or scenario.

1. The standard fields may not be sufficient in some cases. Hence, you may need to add additional fields to the template.

2. Additional requirements may have been added which renders our template outdated.

3. Always compare the template to the provided source link before you download.

4. Do not assume that the editors cover all documents/certificates and labels that may be required for a certain product.

5. Technical problems can occur when saving or downloading files created using the editors (e.g. missing fields or incorrect information) due to software bugs or connection issues. We test* all forms on a monthly basis to ensure that the field data is included in the downloaded file. But, we cannot guarantee that technical problems will never occur. It’s therefore important that you carefully review the download files and confirm that all the information is correct.

Yes, you can create a tracking label using the editor. The tracking label can be downloaded in SVG format for further editing in Adobe Illustrator.

You must also compare your downloaded tracking label to the provided source, and read the methodology.

Why do I need a tracking label?

Tracking labeling is mandatory for children’s products sold in the United States. The tracking label can be applied to both the product and its packaging.

Can I create a Children’s Product Certificate (CPC)?

Yes, you can create a Children’s Product Certificate (CPC) using the editor. The Children’s Product Certificate (CPC) can be downloaded in PDF format.

You must also compare your downloaded Children’s Product Certificate to the provided source, and read the methodology.

Why do I need a Children’s Product Certificate (CPC)?

The Children’s Product Certificate (CPC) is mandatory when importing or manufacturing children’s products in the United States. Keep in mind that the CPC is in part based on the lab test report. Hence, you must also book lab testing.

Can I book lab testing?

Is the CPSIA lab testing cost included?

No, the lab testing cost is calculated on a case by case basis by the testing company and is billed directly by them. We do not charge our customers for lab testing.
