Do you help us ensure compliance with all requirements for our product?
No, the service scope is limited to the specified legislation and the articles/regulations/parts/pages specified in this table. Other legislation or other articles/regulations/parts of the covered legislation is not taken into consideration (even if applicable to your product).
Each service is provided on a single legislation basis. We only base the review on the legislation tied to the service package you order.
Why don’t you help with everything?
We can only provide a flat rate service fee if the service is limited to a specific set of milestones.
Which parts do you help with?
You can find the articles/regulations(parts/pages covered by each service package in the table linked above.
Do you help us confirm standards?
We can search harmonised standards (EU only) based on product names. That said, it is not certain that all (or any) applicable standards can be identified that way. However, it is up to the testing company to determine which standards/tests may apply.
Are there any limitations?
1. We can only prepare files based on what is specified in the legislation. While we can add placeholders, we cannot write user instructions, write risk assessments, specify technical details, or complete other tasks that require product expertise.
2. We do not have access to information (including requirements) in product standards that may apply to your product.
3. We cannot know if the provided company names, addresses, batch numbers or product details are correct. We operate based on the assumption that the information provided is accurate.
4. We cannot assess which standards or testing requirements may apply to a particular product. This assessment must be done by a third-party testing company. Note that their terms of service apply. Further, we do not offer any guarantees for services provided by third-parties.
5. We only cover requirements for manufacturers and importers.
