Plus, you can contact our support team if you have any questions about the PPWR.

Why do I need to track new versions of the PPWR?

The Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (EU) 2025/40 is expected to be amended in the future, which will result in new consolidated versions. This can result in new or updated requirements related to labelling, documentation, packaging design, or other aspects.

We check EUR Lex on a monthly basis to identify new consolidated versions. When a new version is found, we log it in the LexDatabase.

You can also set up email alerts, which trigger email notifications after we have logged a new version of the PPWR (or other regulations and directives).

Why should I use the platform instead of managing the PPWR process by myself?

The PPWR is available on EUR Lex and can be read at no cost. You are not required to use the Compliance Gate Platform or other software tools to comply with the PPWR.

However, the Compliance Gate Platform does provide you with a toolbox that can simplify important steps of the PPWR process.

Does the platform cover the entire PPWR process?

No, the Compliance Gate Platform does not cover every single requirement or provide a pathway to comply with all requirements under the PPWR.

For example, the PPWR requires that packaging is designed based on certain principles.

Do you act as an authorised representative for extended producer responsibility?

We do not act as an EU AR for EPR. That said, you can find companies providing such solutions via the service page.
